This part arrived in perfect condition and fit perfectly in the tractor-mounted snowblower that goes on our John Deere 1025R tractor. The seller did everything right, and I'd buy from this seller again, no question. // I have every confidence this will work for most or all of this winter...and I'll need to get another one next year or thereabouts. This part gets bolted fast to the snowblower frame under the tractor, and senses the rotation of the propeller shaft that powers the snowblower itself. It tends to fall apart at a friction-fit joint between the sensor itself and the little metal tab that bolts onto the snowblower...and then it's another 80 bucks to replace this part which is about the size of a small firecracker. It's a case of either 1) Deere engineers designing something they don't use themselves, or 2) engineering by accountants. In any case, the part is not nearly rugged enough for something that lives under a vibrating, shaking, bouncing diesel-powered tractor, a foot off the ground. But it will work for awhile.
