These are comfy boots out of the box. I'm a landscaper and have wore these almost every day all day for about 8 months now. I don't just wear these as work boots but also for hiking also. After 6 months the inside of the boot started to deteriate. I replaced the insoles and had to tear out the part uderneath because it was rotting out. I wore these in the wet and rain a lot and although I did try to clean them and spray them with waterproofing regularly being wet all the time isn't good for leather. So now one boot is wearing a hole in the side and there is signs of cracking in the other boot. I'm hoping to get a few more months out of these.
