First of all, I will say it was relatively easy to put together. I am a single mom and I did it all on my own except my 11 year old did help once to hold up the main arm part while I connected the wires. Took about an hour and a half with all the tools provided. Pros: it is compact, easy to assemble, inexpensive. Cons: it does squeak while in use even though everything is tightened. I have laminate floors but did put it on a small rug to try and help. Also, I couldn't get the electronic monitor part to work but this is not a huge deal t me, though would have been nice. I time my workouts with my apple watch and the resistance dial works fine. I will say that the stride is a little short/slightly awkward but it works and I still feel a workout. I am 5'6" but it might be too short/too uncomfortable for anyone taller. Hope that helps!Went together pretty easy but there was 2 plastic pieces that were broken when we took it out of the box
