This is not quality I was expecting. Took longer than quoted for delivery, when I finally received it, there were parts rusted and paint cracked off. The adjustable height post is weak, if you tighten the adjustment screw enough to support an arm or leg, it punches dimples into the thin metal, this makes sliding up or down much harder because the post is now deformed from dimples. If you do not tighten that far, the ink bed will slip down when an arm or leg is rested, hopefully NOT while you’re tattooing!!!!! The feet of the rest slide on the floor, making everything more difficult rather than easier. I was excited to use the ink bed, and I received it just in time for a convention where I did a marathon tattoo contest, and used it with almost every client, and had trouble EVERY TIME! Overall very dissatisfied, way over priced for the Product that I got. The rust and chipping paint right out of the box was a good indicator that this is not professional quality. I liked the size, angle options, and the design of the cushion itself, but the legs kill it. I will be salvaging the ball joint and maybe some bolts, and the cushion, Maybe I can get some use from this purchase by rebuilding and replacing most of the parts. Contacting seller, will update with results. *UPDATE* contacted seller with the issue, matter was resolved within the same day, initially disappointed, however, the outstanding customer service made up for the experience, THANK YOU INKBED!Used less than a year wobbled and usteady straight on the box. Used to just step on it to stabilize it. However it now wobbles at the top too. Like the metal just wore down with very little useThe frame geometry on these parts is very crooked. Major wobble. Buy 2 and put one together that sits firmly on ground while tattooing and return the rest of the parts for a refund.Wobbly pad, bulky base, thin brace pad (both width and depth). The pad wobbles a lot and I need to add washers to fill the gaps. It arrived like this , surely for the price they could have added washers. The arm rest pad material is cheap and slick, not easy to wrap and cover with cling wrap . Barrier film would probably work better but I have a feeling the material would develop residue or possibly tear from repeated removal or something like barrier film. Pretty disappointed tbh. Feels like it was made with tattooing in mind, by someone who doesn’t actually tattoo. The pad ( actual arm test) extends pretty high but not very low. Not every tattooer is 6 foot tall, give us shorties some good equipmentThe rest part itself is super loose. Both me and a co worker bought this and we both have the same issue. It looks like one of the screws is stripped so it won’t stay tight in place and wobblesThe one i just got was welded out of sqaure so it doesn't seat flat i expected better out of ink bedThis product had mixed reviews and now I see why. When I recieved my arm rest the first thing I noticed was a little rust around the not so great spot welding. The second thing I noticed was that one of the bolts was already separating from the frame where it had been welded on to the frame. Luckily for me I am mechanically inclined and just drilled a whole through the pole that goes to the arm rest to secure it. Otherwise it would not be stable. Stability is important when doing a nice tattoo. I have attached pictures.Absolutely wonderful for the price, adjustable in so many ways, sturdy and durable
